The year 2021 was very hard but lucky one for the Enache’s. The highlight was seeing Marian Enache being recognised as the best foreign entrepreneur at the 2021 edition of the Economy and Development Awards, a historical ceremony of the Udine Chamber of Commerce which has now become a part of the common heritage of the Pordenone-Udine Chamber of Commerce.
It was against this backdrop that the resilience of someone like Marian, who arrived with his wife at the age of 20 from Romania and now owns a business in Friuli Venezia Giulia, was rewarded. The award is a symbol for those who do not give up and a hymn to restarting, rebuilding and rebirth. After the first year and a half of the Covid-19 pandemic which caused even the 2020 edition of the ceremony to be cancelled, the prize-giving ceremony was held for the first time in Pordenone at the Verdi Theatre, where the 36 award-winners were hosted, along with an audience made up of leading representatives of institutions, production and economic walks of life, as well as relatives, friends and well-wishers of the award-winners gathered to celebrate them.
