On Thursday, 16 December 2021, the doors of Casa Valcellina opened, officially kicking off a new dream made of hospitality and traditional cuisine. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was ‘unusual’ in that it was done with a pitina knife made in Maniago. It cemented the start of the new adventure of Florina and Marian Enache, who are now at the helm of the restaurant and hotel located in Grizzo di Montereale Valcellina.
The inauguration took place in the presence of the municipal administration, friends, citizens and representatives of the Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanistic Research in Venice. It represented a new leap for the couple, who arrived in Italy in 2008, and were already at the helm of the Alla Casasola restaurant in 2015. Florina and Marian are aware that following one’s dreams is exhausting, because new dreams are born every day. They also know that this is the true spice of life, and the two young people’s emotions are sky-high.
